1 minUse a spudger to pry the Taptic Engine ribbon cable connector straight up off its socket.

Unscrew the Taptic Engine
2 minRemove the screws holding the Taptic Engine unit to the bottom of the phone frame.

Remove old Taptic Engine
1 minGrasp the old Taptic Engine with tweezers and lift it out of the rear case.

Install replacement Taptic Engine
3 minSet the new Taptic Engine into position, reattach its press connector, and secure it with the retaining screws.
