Unclip the top vent grate

Clear remaining solder
5 minUse desoldering wick and a clean soldering iron tip to clear old solder from all anchor holes and surface pads.

Position the replacement HDMI port
3 minAlign the pins of the new HDMI port with the motherboard pads and press the anchor pins firmly into the mounting holes.

Solder the mounting and signal pins
8 minApply fresh solder to the four structural anchor posts, then carefully solder each small signal pin using a fine-tip iron and flux.

Reinstall motherboard into metal casing
