The LG UltraFine 5K display was developed in close partnership with Apple as a dedicated high density monitor solution for macOS workflows following the retirement of the Apple Thunderbolt Display. Built around a 27 inch IPS panel running at a native 5120x2880 resolution, it offers high pixel density (218 PPI), P3 wide color gamut support, and seamless software integration for macOS volume and brightness controls over a single Thunderbolt cable. Designed primarily for creative professionals, video editors, and photographers, it serves as a high resolution workspace monitor with integrated stereo speakers, a webcam, and downstream USB C ports.
